The typical medical training that personnel receive in their basic academy does very little to realistically prepare the recruit for situations that officers come across on a daily basis throughout the country. This course provides the medical training that law enforcement personnel deserve! This course is a jam-packed full day of training that breaks down a myriad of medical issues and solutions to those issues in a way that is relatable, understandable, and easy to immediately implement.
The life-saving tactics and liability reduction methods that are discussed within this course are taught by a very knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate instructor with over 25 years of continual experience within a wide array of public safety disciplines. Additionally, this course has been reviewed for evidence based medical accuracy by a board-certified emergency department physician.

- What is most likely to kill a person to what is least likely to kill a person and how to mitigate those emergencies per CoTCCC guidelines
- Bleeding cessation techniques; efficient and effective TQ use, wound packing, hemostatic gauze discussion, and pressure dressing application
- Basic airway management, chest seal use and shock mitigation
- Law enforcement specific patient assessment and remote patient assessment

Officers will learn to adopt the mindset of winning and surviving the fight if wounded in the line of duty. They will be trained on the benefits of being able to self-treat wounds, further enabling them to continue with an offensive response enabling them to win.
